TYPICAL DAY OF EATING

HEY GUYS

Some of you like to know what you can eat to lose weight. Here is a typical day of my meals

Breakfast one cup FIBER ONE cereal with 3/4 cup blueberrys and soy or skim milk " I SOMETIMES MIX WHEY PROTEIN AND A CUP OF PLAIN NOFAT YOGURT INTO THE CEREAL IN PLACE OF MILK

SNACK
Medium apple two pieces string cheese

LUNCH
Wrap 4 oz turkey 1 slice lowfat swiss hotpepper rings sometimes use salmon or tuna instead of turkey The brand of wrap I use are called flat out wraps and have the BESTLIFE seal on them

Snack Banana with about 10 almonds non salted

Supper 4 oz chicken or fish occasionally beef A baked sweet potatoe and a salad or a green veggie

this meal is versatile so many combinations of meat and green veggies baked sweet potatoe is pretty much a staple , if you substitute pasta remember 1 cup cooked pasta is a serving

If you need a snack later a light yogurt is not a bad choice or sugar free jello , celery sticks I am sure you have the right general idea about what is a good snack late at night

That my friends is a pretty basic day of eating in our household

WINK HAS WON


HEY GUYS

It has been a long fulfilling journey that will continue, fitness is not just for the duration of a contest, it is a lifelong commitment. I have learned so much the last three years. Lifestyle change is the key to living a fit life, diets are a dead end street, you lose a few pounds you feel like you reached your goals so then you quit your diet. Guess what, you will more often than not regain your losses but add an additional few as well. The vicious circle we keep going round and round in , it seems there is no easy place to hop off. I would love to see you commit to change and not a diet, make good food choices, find out how many calories you need to consume, make it a good ratio, do yourself a favor. You may not need to lose weight, you might need to get your cholesterol and triglycerides down , exercise and diet will do this as well. You might need to build muscle, find out what it takes, no matter what hurdles you have have in life , you will find anything easier if your body is in as good as shape as possible. Not Everybody in life is going to win $250,000 What is your good health worth. I am fortunate to have won the Grand Prize in the Million Dollar Body Contest, but even if I had not won one thin dime, I have gained the greatest prize in the world a sound body to go with a sound mind. I will leave you on this note , all of us can be fit to some degree, we may not look like centerfolds or beach boys , but to be healthy and fit is a gift, and no matter what the package looks like if you are healthy anything extra is a bonus.
